Krochet Kids International

Buy a hat, change a life.

Krochet Kids International provides products, specifically hats, designed by women in Northern Uganda and most recently Peru. These sales help support their communities through holistic approaches. “Through a unique model [they] are empowering the women with the assets, skills, and knowledge to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.  The result is long lasting and sustainable change.”

One aspect that makes Krochet Kids International special is their strong emphasis on the words Thank You. With each hat created, the artist signs her name inside so you know who made it. You can then go to their specific online profile to learn about your artist and write a personal message and a thank you. How awesome is that?

There are many ways for you to get involved: buy a hat (they specialize in hats, but have other products, also look this summer for their new products such as sunglass cases, headbands, and a clutch), tell your friends, intern in California or overseas, or start/join a campus club.
