Amani Ya Juu

Tucked into an unassuming corner of Nairobi, Kenya, marginalized women from all around Africa work at a sewing-training project thorough an organization called Amani Ya Juu. One of Amani Ya Juu’s main purposes is to teach these women that they can “learn how to work together through faith in God who provides a higher peace that transcends ethnic differences.” Purses, laptop cases, christmas ornaments and aprons are just a few of the beautiful and unique products these women work together to make and sell through Amani Ya Juu. Unfortunately, Amani currently only ships their products to the United States. If you are interested in purchasing items from outside of the United States however, don’t hesitate to contact Amani Ya Juu to see if a special arrangement can be made.
